As coastlines disappear across the world, it is vital that Louisiana maintains occupation of the Gulf Coast, and continue cultivating a research environment focused on the surrounding marine life. At its current state, LUMCON remains complacent in its response to the impending climate changes, and instead must aggressively stand firm in order to maintain its position in the Gulf and continue accumulating marine knowledge. It is time for Les Promeneurs and LUMCON to join forces, reorganize programmatically, and most importantly, evolve.
