Located in the heart of downtown Austin, Ellis Bar serves as an announcement and entryway to Fareground, a popular urban plaza and food hall. One of its most notable features are the accordion doors that flank the occupiable exterior facades. Built with custom steel frames and western red cedar panels, the accordion doors slide with ease on a custom track and hinge system by Hafele. In addition, the interior finish-out consisted of custom steel supports for the illuminated stone shelf bottle racks, steel and wood fin cladding, and steel bar and counter supports to name a few.
